Permission to share professional info with sponsors
The CHPC National Conference relies on its sponsors to support a significant portion of the activities. This includes the travel and accommodation costs of invited speakers, especially international experts. In addition, we are able to support over 150 local students to attend the conference and participate in the student competitions. In exchange, our sponsors request the attendance list so that they can judge the value of sponsorship as marketing and outreach to the high end computing community of South Africa.
The POPI Act requires that we have explicit consent from our delegates to share their information with third-parties, especially as our sponsors are mostly international.
We are not asking for more than minimal professional information. Please complete the survey below to help the CHPC attract high value support for the National Conference series..
