Integrating research data repositories with scholarly identity and impact tracking tools such as Altmetric, Dimensions, and ORCID presents a transformative opportunity to enhance the visibility, discoverability, and societal impact of academic outputs. By aligning persistent identifiers (ORCID IDs) with real-time metrics and citation networks, researchers and institutions can track engagement, showcase the impact of their work beyond traditional citations, and strengthen academic profiles.
