Description
According to Wits, "impactful research" is defined as high-caliber research that advances academic fields, shapes practice and policy, and promotes social or economic growth. The analytics of the impact of datasets by Wits authors in many study categories, sustainable development goals, and national and international collaborations are the main topics of this talk. Originally established by subject matter specialists, the research categories are now used and defined by researchers and funders worldwide. The United Nations adopted 17 interrelated Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2015 with the goal of improving human well-being and tackling global issues in order to transform our world. It is important to conclude by examining how the research data management policy supports and encourages the archiving and sharing of datasets through the institutional repository.
