DESCRIPTION:CHPC - DARA Linux and Python Training Partnership\n\nThe CHPC 
 will be conducting a full-week computer training to selected students of D
 evelopment in Africa Radio Astronomy (DARA) project within SKA specified p
 artner countries. In particular\, Botswana\, Kenya\, Madagascar\, Mozambiq
 ue\, Namibia and Zambia\, respectively. Students background is in natural 
 science (e.g. Physics\, Mathematics\, Statistics etc). The computer syllab
 us covers 2 days on introduction to Linux and three days on Python scripti
 ng. It is requirement that selected DARA students must attend this compute
 r training before they can do anything related to radio Astronomy. The tra
 ining utilise the existing clusters of PCs that have been delivered by DAR
 A and African VLBI Network\, all of which have the same Linux set-up and A
 stronomy software on them installed by HartRAO.\n\nAll selected students b
 y DARA from Botswana\, Namibia\, Maputo\, Madagscar and Zambia to attend c
 omputer training from\n\n06 May  to 10 May 2019\; \n\nat HartRAO\, South
  Africa \n\nMust register for the computer course before 06 May 2019.\n\nh
