As this is a skills-based course in Practical HPC there are regular practicals during the two weeks of supervised learning from 28 August to 8 September. Please see the timetable for dates and times. The material for each practical will be posted on the CHPC Moodle site once the course starts.
Physical Practical Sessions
This year the CHPC is running this course as a partial hybrid online course and a few universities will host in-person practical sessions at a physical venue IRL.
Once confirmed, the list of physical venues will be posted below.
Note:
This course remains a primarily online course and attendance at a physical practical is entirely optional. There is no disadvantage to attending this course online only.

Application to Host
If you are a full time permanent staff member at an academic institution with several students who would likely participate in the 2023 Winter School and would like to host a physical practical venue then please complete the application form.
Please indicate the facilities available and whether or not you are able to host only the first week (28 Aug to 1 Sep) or both weeks (28 Aug to 8 Sep). Note that the second week is less critical and optional if you prefer to only host the first week.
