Your abstract should feature information on the use of high performance computing:
-
HPC applications and libraries used,
-
hardware (cluster, SMP, GPU, etc.)
-
problem size,
-
core counts,
-
memory,
-
scaling,
-
use of OpenMP or MPI,
-
computational challenges
-
and any other HPC aspect to the methodology
The technical programme of the 2018 CHPC National Conference comprises two parallel sessions:
- HPC Technologies and Techniques
- HPC Applications
Contributions accepted into the HPC Applications track are to include information on the use of HPC and be aimed at a more general audience. Presentations on applications of HPC to solving scientific and engineering problems will be grouped together based on their common use of HPC and not exclusively by scientific field:
Domain Decomposition
- Computational Fluid Dynamics; Climate modelling; Computational Mechanics; Physics
N-Body
- Discrete Element Methods; Astrophysics; Molecular Dynamics;
Throughput Computing
- Image Processing; Machine Learning; Bioinformatics;
Dense Linear Systems
- Computational Electromagnetics; Multi-scale Multi-physics Simulation;
Other
- Phylogenetics; Genomics; Cryptography;
