Description

A data management plan (DMP) is a document that describes how you will collect, organise, manage, store, secure, back- up, preserve, and where applicable, share your data. The DMP should be created at the start of a research project so that good practices are established early. The following aspects will be discussed:

  • Benefits of a dmp tool
  • Core checklist for a dmp tool
  • Examples of dmp tools (demonstrated)
  • Guidelines for creating or choosing a dmp tool for your institution
